These terms cover the seven Montarion services, ebook purchases and rentals for 24 hours, 72 hours or 30 days, in direct contracts with EU consumers. Publishing these terms does not open sales or membership. UK and US English versions are translations for this same scope, not announcements of launch in those markets.

Final prices and ordering
All consumer prices are final and include VAT. Before payment, the plan or title, language, total, billing frequency, duration, automatic renewal and next charge amount and date are disclosed. Annual membership covers 12 months, paid in advance. Promotions must identify initial and subsequent prices. Additional purchases and paid delivery options are shown separately before confirmation; there are no hidden charges. Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew for the same period unless cancelled before the next charge. Cancel by email or through the available subscription management. Cancelling renewal preserves the paid period; it differs from withdrawal within 14 days. Renewal for the same period applies only where lawful. National limits on commitment, mandatory advance notices and rights to end the contract earlier or obtain a refund for unused time take priority. Annual charging does not remove these rights.
Montarion Infinity · 2026 / 2027
Infinity annual: €39.99 through 16 November 2026 inclusive; €49.99 from 17 through 29 November; €69.99 from 30 November through 31 December 2026. All three campaigns are one-off payments for 12 months, without automatic renewal. New subscriptions from 1 January 2027: €99.99/year with automatic renewal until cancelled. Monthly: €6.99/month with automatic renewal for subscriptions started through 31 December 2026, retaining that renewal price while the subscription remains active; new subscriptions from 1 January 2027: €9.99/month with automatic renewal until cancelled. The €6.99 is a monthly charge, not a one-off lifetime access payment.

Withdrawal from service membership
Service membership has a 14-calendar-day withdrawal period without giving a reason, from conclusion of the contract, counted from the following day. Book Club is a reader benefits programme; any books included in a plan are included benefits. The service membership period does not wait for the first shipment. This description does not exclude mandatory rights concerning goods or contractual components where applicable, or more favourable statutory periods and extensions.
Starting services during the 14 days
Starting a service during the 14 days requires an express request. Using a subscription does not itself remove withdrawal rights. Withdrawal after requesting an early start may entail only the legally permitted proportionate amount for services actually supplied, with advance information. Losing withdrawal rights upon full performance also requires the statutory consents and acknowledgements. Refunds due are made within 14 days of notification, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed without cost to the customer.
Ebook purchases and rentals: immediate access
Immediate supply of an ebook purchase or a 24-hour, 72-hour or 30-day rental, as digital content without a tangible medium, requires prior express consent and acknowledgement of losing withdrawal rights when supply begins, with confirmation of the contract and consent on a durable medium such as email. The separate box will start unticked; an immediate-access order cannot proceed without it. Purchase or ticking a box alone, before supply starts, does not remove the right. If a legal requirement is missing, applicable rights remain.
Consent to immediate supply
I request immediate supply of this purchased or rented ebook before the 14-day withdrawal period ends and acknowledge that I lose that right when supply begins. This consent does not remove my rights for defects, lack of access or non-performance.
Licence, access and rental duration
The licence is personal, for reading, without permission to resell or distribute. Purchase format, language, compatibility, technical protection and permitted downloads are stated before payment. Rental is online reading without downloads or automatic renewal; the 24 hours, 72 hours or 30 days start when access is made available after payment and end at the notified date and time. Infinity-only access lasts for the paid period. Ebooks redeemed through eBook Club are retained under the rules below.
How it works
After cancellation, benefits end with the paid period. Delivered books and acquired ebooks remain; Infinity-only access ends.
For an upgrade choose: 1) keep the current plan to the end of the paid period and change at renewal, with no difference payable now; or 2) pay the proportional difference for the time remaining to renewal and activate new benefits after payment confirmation. The renewal date stays unchanged. Downgrades take effect only at renewal, without deleting acquired ebooks.
Discounts cover eligible individual products, with no purchase limit. Several books can share an order. No member discounts on packs or added percentages.
For extra purchases, choose a discount OR eligible free shipping; they do not combine. Other shipping methods are paid in full.
While your membership is active, credits arrive every month and accumulate without limit. If you cancel, you can keep using the service until the period you have already paid for ends. Only when that period ends and you no longer have the service do the 30 days to redeem your remaining credits begin. Moving to a lower plan does not start this deadline. Ebooks already redeemed remain in your library under their licence. A lack of sufficient eligible titles does not remove your rights.
With 10 or more credits a month, cancellation gives you 6 months after the paid period ends to redeem remaining credits. Downgrading does not start this period. Proven lack of eligible ebooks at the deadline gives €5 compensation per affected credit; choosing not to use available titles does not.

Physical shipments may include other authors by agreement. Additional-purchase discounts and free shipping exclude their works. eBook credits and discounts apply only to eligible Montarion Universe ebooks. Third-party Infinity titles require agreements.
You pay the displayed percentage of the ebook’s own eligible purchase price, not a discount on another rental rate. No minimum charges: amounts are rounded to cents and include applicable taxes. Durations marked — are unavailable for that tier.
The rental period starts when access is provided after payment. Buying the same ebook within 30 days of taking out the rental deducts 50% of the rental payment; this does not automatically combine with member discounts.
Book Club
Monthly physical plans ship in months 4, 8 and 12. Loyalty books require 12 completed months.
3 shipments: months 4, 8 and 12.
2 shipments: first dispatched within 60 days of joining; second in month 12.
2 shipments: months 6 and 12.
1 shipment: all regular books dispatched within 60 days of joining.
The total number of books stays the same. Within 60 days means dispatch, not arrival. Bringing shipments forward may remove the chance to receive a book released in the four months before a future shipment. Recent titles depend on eligible stock.
Choose one or two available languages. The club selects mystery books without repeating a work, including its translations. With two languages we aim for 50/50 over the year, subject to availability. Books may arrive out of reading order.
You choose the available titles and languages. If you have not chosen, we email you to request your selection. We do not choose mystery books for you.
Before every shipment we email titles, languages, quantities, destination and expected dispatch. We give at least 10 days' notice and 5 days to reply. Eligible plans allow one book change before production per shipment, within the annual allowance.
Montarion Universe pays economy delivery for included books. No extra payment beyond your membership to receive them.

Montarion Reserva Signature
Discount on selected physical pre-releases
Available after one month. The author selects eligible books and sagas. Pay by 20 days before release; dispatch is 15 days before the current official date. Early arrival is not guaranteed. A postponed release shifts dispatch accordingly.
A range uses its final year for the reservation: 2027/2028 means 2028, with possible earlier release; 2026/2027 means 2027. Sets contain only volumes assigned to the same year. Each volume can be reserved individually. A Guerra da Criação is planned for 2026. Primary languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish. Secondary languages are those eligible in the A Conspiração Sombria packs. Other languages require a free request and individual approval before payment. The author opens final payment and notifies you of the balance, shipping and normal 5-day payment window. Extra time may be granted. Five days do not automatically cancel the reservation. Credit is deducted once; the balance is not charged automatically.

Some plans have their own prices and discounts. Imperium Signature keeps the amounts below. Your plan’s pre-release discount applies to the books before reservation credit is deducted. Credit can also cover shipping. Any excess is refunded or settled.

Cancellation, books and goodwill gifts
For monthly Book Club and bundles including it, books already received are yours. Completing 4, 8 or 12 paid months earns the books scheduled for that milestone; any not yet received will be sent. Count time to the effective end of the paid period, within each subscription year.
Monthly cancellation outside the 14-day withdrawal period includes one additional commercial goodwill gift according to the month reached. It does not replace books already owed or statutory rights, and is not accumulated for every past month.

For withdrawal within 14 days, we refund the amount paid, deducting only the lawful proportion for days of service actually supplied following an express early-start request and advance information. No new book benefits or these goodwill gifts are awarded. Returns of goods already received and other rights follow applicable law.
After 14 days on an annual plan, cancellation of renewal or a downgrade takes effect at the end of the prepaid annual period. Keep the plan and benefits until then. The monthly goodwill gifts in this table do not apply to annual plans; mandatory rights remain.
What if books from your plan are missing?
Book Club plans with 20 or more books a year and customer-selected titles: you choose the books from all available languages and must submit your selection. We do not promise that number of books in a specific language. A lack of titles in your preferred language or failure to submit your selection alone is not a failure by Montarion Universe and does not qualify for missing-book compensation if eligible titles are available in other languages. We remain responsible for sending your eligible selections within the plan deadlines.
Mystery books: choose one or two languages when joining; the books must match those languages. If we cannot send all books owed because titles in those languages are unavailable by the annual deadline below — 13 months after joining in the first year — you qualify for the compensation options below. This rule repeats each membership year. These conditions do not limit your mandatory statutory rights.
This guarantee covers the physical Book Club and bundles that include it. Each membership year, we have until one month after the anniversary to dispatch all books due for that year. In the first year this is 13 months after membership starts. The rule repeats every year.
Example: join on 1 November 2026. The first year's deadline is 1 December 2027; the second year's is 1 December 2028, and so on.
If your membership remains active and books are still undispatched at that deadline, email us to choose, per missing book: a 30 € shop voucher with no minimum purchase, or 20 € transferred to your bank account. The 20 € payment is made within 30 days after the annual deadline above.
If books already owed remain unsent at the effective end of membership, we have 30 days from that end to settle. Choose by email: the missing books or, for each unsent book, a €30 voucher with no minimum spend or €20 by bank transfer. Your choice is respected. For annual plans the deadline starts at the end of the paid period, not when cancellation of renewal is requested.
To request: email us identifying your membership, missing books and preferred option. For 2 missing books, compensation is 60 € in vouchers or 40 € by bank transfer.

Cosmos uses the rates of its included eBook Club tier, regardless of the print tier or total bundle price. Example: Imperium + Ultimate Plus uses Ultimate Plus: 72 hours at 10% or 30 days at 20%. If your active Infinity already covers the title, read with Infinity without another rental charge; uncovered titles may still be rented.

Future offline saving in the app does not use these downloads.
Planned for up to 2 devices, replaceable immediately after online verification, with renewable authorisation for up to 30 days.
Renewing does not expire the purchase or restore used downloads.
Loss of withdrawal rights for digital supply does not remove statutory conformity rights. Defective files, unavailable access or services differing from the contract remain subject to legal remedies: bringing into conformity, price reduction or termination and refund. Commercial guarantees and vouchers below add protection; they do not replace mandatory rights or require a voucher instead of a legally due refund.
Applicable law, complaints and privacy
Portuguese law applies without removing mandatory protection under the law applicable in the consumer’s country of habitual residence or access to competent courts. Notify withdrawal or complaints through the site form or montarionuniverse@gmail.com; sending within the deadline suffices, without awaiting permission. Data follows the privacy policy. The complaints book, CICAP within its competence and European Consumer Centre assistance remain available. Durable contract confirmation must identify the terms version and purchased plan.
