Synopsis
In AD 43, the legions of Rome cross the sea to conquer Britain. The greatest empire in the known world faces tribes that would rather die than surrender their lands.
Among sacred forests, fortresses and battlefields, the Celtic peoples fight for freedom. Kings betray their allies, warriors face far superior armies and druid priests seek to protect knowledge handed down over thousands of years.
But there is something neither the Romans nor the tribes understand.
Long before Rome existed, an extraterrestrial civilisation known as the Druids was connected to Earth. Part of their knowledge of the Universe and the paths of the future survived among ancient human lineages.
And the Reptilians know it.
Hidden among merchants, advisers and powerful figures, they manipulate conflicts and seek to recover secrets that could alter the balance between civilisations. They do not intend to declare war on Humanity. They prefer to let humans fight among themselves.
Amid this violence is Eiran, a warrior who begins to have visions of events that have not yet happened. As he faces the Roman legions and travels across the lands we now know as England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, he discovers that his destiny is connected to a name far older than any empire.
Montarion.
From the resistance of Caratacus to the revolt of Boudica, from wars between tribes to the sanctuaries of the island of Mona, the Roman conquest becomes a struggle in which every human victory may conceal a far greater defeat.
Eiran will have to choose between saving his people, protecting the secrets of the ancient Druids or facing those who, in the shadows, seek to decide the future of Earth.
Because Rome came to conquer a territory. But the Reptilians were already there.
An epic saga of wars, betrayals, prophecies and hidden civilisations, set long before the events of The Beginning of the End. A standalone story that reveals another chapter of the unknown past of Montarion Universe.
