MONTARIONUNIVERSEThe Beginning of the End ·
After facing wars, empires, prophecies and forces capable of deciding the fate of entire civilizations, José Monteiro discovers that there is something not even all the power in the Universe can save: time. The Woman the Universe Erased is a collection of poems set after the Endpoint A of The Beginning of the End: The Last Breath of Humanity — The Judgment of the Gods, following the relationship between José and Brunix through love, family, the last hours of a reality and the memory that remains when everything else disappears. For three hundred and sixty-five days, José tries to do what he spent much of his life forgetting: live. Not as Montarion. Not as a saviour. Not as the man capable of facing the Universe itself. Just like José, beside the woman he loves and the children with whom he built a life that should never have been possible. But when the Universe changes, Brunix disappears from History. Places remain. Cities go on. The stars continue to exist. Only no one remembers her. No one, except José. Between poems about two worlds that learned to touch each other, the last year together, the birth of a family, some hours of eternity and the loneliness of being the only man to remember a life that the Universe itself erased, this work turns Ending A into an intimate journey about love, loss, memory and existence. Because maybe forgetting is a way to survive. But José Monteiro did not have that privilege. The Universe forgot Brunix. Not him. A poetic work from the Montarion Universe. Warning: this work takes place after Ending A of The Beginning of the End and contains significant spoilers from that ending
