MONTARIONUNIVERSEThe Beginning of the End · Book 3 · Ending B
There are endings that save the present. And there are choices that doom the future.
José Monteiro finally reached the moment foretold by the prophecies. Facing the destiny that aimed to turn him into the First Emperor of the Universe, he makes a decision whose consequences no one can foresee: he refuses. But his no opens up a much greater truth. Great Cycles were born and died before that Universe. Other José Monteiros made the same choice. Prophecies that seemed to predict the future turn out to be echoes of wars that have already happened, and the origin of Montarion leads José to a mystery that even God cannot fully explain. While José seeks to break a destiny repeated for countless ages, Earth is approaching war once again. São Paulo remains occupied by the Reptilians. An enemy fleet waits near Jupiter. The Reptilian Empire is preparing a new era and Alberto Azarado returns to reveal the truth about the betrayal that marked his life. Between Washington, Porto, the Vatican, Jupiter and Vhaark’Thor, negotiations hide an operation capable of forever changing the balance between Humans, Reptilians and Spulves. José has a plan. If it works, it could end a war that has spanned generations. If it fails, it could hand Humanity over to the future it tried to avoid. Because winning the present doesn’t mean defeating destiny. And some wars don’t end. They just wait for the children. An alternate ending to the trilogy The Beginning of the End.
