The First Montarion: The Dark Origin of Humanity

Standalone book

Millions of years before empires, religions, and the memory of History itself, Earth was simply the Blue World: a distant laboratory where the Spulves were developing a project capable of changing the fate of the universe.

Amidst genetic experiments, military surveillance, and lives treated as guinea pigs, an unexpected being rises up against its creators. They call him Montarion. He will be the first.

After freeing the imprisoned humans and leading them to liberty, Montarion becomes more than a fugitive: he becomes the beginning of a lineage, a symbol, and an enigma that will span millennia.

At the same time, Khar’Ka, a Spulve warrior and participant in Project Blue World, receives an order that will define all of future history: to remain on Earth, observe the new species, and decide whether it deserves to live.

Caught between his loyalty to his people and the unease stirred by Montarion, Khar’Ka witnesses the birth of Humanity, the trail of an impossible legacy, and the first step of the secret that will one day lead to the name José Monteiro.

The First Montarion: The Dark Origin of Humanity reveals, on an epic scale, the true origin of Humanity, the birth of the Montarion myth, and the first step of the guardian who, much later, will watch over the fate of the world.

The Day the Earth Said Enough

The Last Rebellion of Earth

José Monteiro said yes. Three times. And, for the first time since the start of the Great Cycles, the universes really started to converge. One year until the Union. Millions of realities are now heading for a single destiny. Worlds will vanish. Stories will cease to have existed. Entire civilizations will be wiped out. But Humanity will survive. Or at least, that's what everyone believed. In a universe far from the one where José Monteiro said the three “yeses”, there is an Earth unlike any other. The Earth that will remain. When convergence begins, the planet awakens to a truth that no civilisation knows: among the countless versions of Earth spread across universes, one will serve as the anchor for the Earth of the Unique Universe. And with this revelation comes another. For Humanity to cross the Union, at least one human from that Earth must remain alive when convergence ends. If the last one dies... the countless human civilizations of other universes will vanish with them. The Earth watches the species born on its surface. Wars. Extinctions. Polluted oceans. Destroyed forests. Altered atmosphere. Thousands of years of violence against the very world that made life possible. And it makes a decision. Humanity will not enter the new Universe. Thus begins the greatest war the human species has ever faced. There is no enemy army. No planet to escape to. No weapon capable of killing the opponent. Because the enemy is the ground beneath your feet. The oceans. The atmosphere. The climate. The Earth itself. As billions of humans disappear, José Monteiro begins to understand that disasters are not accidents. The planet is hunting them. And it has only one goal: to reduce the human population to zero before the Union. José and Alberto are dragged into a war where winning doesn't mean defeating the Earth. It only means surviving it. One year. Then months. Weeks. Days. Hours. Humanity is approaching the end while countless universes move towards convergence. And when only a few humans remain, the question that no one ever imagined having to answer will arise: who will be the last? José? Alberto? Someone else? Maybe no one knows. Because to save all of Humanity... it only takes one human being to keep breathing when the universes become one.

The Sentence of God

The War of Creation

God watched Humanity for an eternity. Not just one Humanity. All of them. Infinite Earths. Thousands of millions of civilizations. Countless universes born from the stories of the Guardian Montarion. Worlds changed. Centuries changed. Stories changed. But humans kept repeating themselves. War. Hatred. Greed. Conquest. Destruction. World after world, Humanity grew, dominated the planet that created it and ended up carrying its conflicts to the stars. Until God came to a conclusion. Humanity wasn't an experiment that had gone wrong. It was a plague that had spread through creation itself. And He pronounced the sentence. The human species would be wiped out. Not from one Earth. Not from one Universe. From all of them. When the first humanities simply start to cease to exist, different versions of José Monteiro feel what none of them should be able to feel: other parts of themselves are disappearing. Soldiers. Kings. Scientists. Criminals. Writers. Men who saved Humanity. Men who failed. And Josés who became exactly what they swore to fight against. For the first time, versions of José Monteiro from realities that should never meet will have to fight side by side. But not everyone wants to stop God. Some believe He is right. And while a war begins to divide the Josés themselves, another impossibility is discovered. In all these realities, there is also an Alberto. God created the Multiverse. The Guardian created stories capable of becoming worlds. Now, the creatures of these stories will have to answer the question that could determine the future of all existence: If God created the possibility of life, does he also have the right to decide when a species has lost the right to exist? The war for Humanity will no longer be fought on Earth. It will be fought against its own Creator.

The Door That Should Not Exist

Chronicles of Forbidden Time

José Monteiro saved the Universe. No one remembers.

After all realities were united, José awoke in Porto, in a world where Brunix, his children, the Druids, the Reptilians and every civilization he had known had never existed. Condemned to be the sole guardian of his memories, he transformed everything he had lived through into a collection of books that the world received as science fiction.

Years later, a secret government organization knocks on his door.

Hidden from the world, this agency protects History through a single door capable of taking its travelers to any place and moment in the past. One need only cross it while thinking of the destination. The door finds a place where no one can witness the arrival.

For centuries, its agents prevented wars, conspiracies and travelers from changing the course of Humanity. Until History itself begins to change.

Messages addressed to José appear in places sealed for centuries. The Montarion symbol emerges in ancient documents. Files describe events, creatures and civilizations that exist only in the books he wrote.

Someone, or something, is altering the past to build an entrance into this Universe.

Recruited as the only man capable of recognising the marks of the erased reality, José begins to travel through the centuries. But each mission reveals part of a much greater plan: a consciousness eliminated by the union of the universes is changing History, event by event, to create its own origin and ensure that this time it can never be erased.

And that entity knows the one price capable of making José betray the agency. The possibility of recovering Brunix, his children and everyone the Universe took from him.

As an invisible war spreads through the past, José must decide whether to protect a world built upon forgetting or open the way for the return of a condemned reality.

Because the past did not die. It was forbidden to exist.

The Children of the Promise

The Architects of Eternity

José Monteiro achieved what no Montarion had accomplished since the beginning of the Great Cycles. He negotiated with the Universe itself.

He refused to become Emperor, prevented the convergence of realities and destroyed the seeds of the Artificial Intelligence that would give rise to the War of the Heirs. For the first time, the future was no longer written. But freedom came at a price.

As part of the agreement, when his human sons turned twenty, they would be summoned to the Center of the Universe. Gabriel and Daniel would gain access to the knowledge accumulated by the Council’s nine civilizations and would cease to age biologically.

They would not be immortal. They would neither fall ill nor grow old, but they could die. They could be murdered. And no Primordial Law would condemn the species responsible for their deaths.

Their mission would be to find what neither the Council, nor the Druids, nor the Universe itself had ever discovered: a way to stabilise every universe without forcing them to converge into a single reality.

Twenty years later, the summons arrives.

Prepared by Sofia through Spulve science, the history of the Universe, strategy, philosophy and combat, the two brothers enter the Council as free men. They will be required to appear only once a year and may build lives of their own. Yet the universes remain wounded.

The links between realities are disappearing, and a time will come when no union, solution or sacrifice will be able to save them.

In the Council’s archives, Gabriel and Daniel discover that the answer may lie in a conclusion they reached as children: a portal does not truly transport a person through space. It convinces the Universe that the person is already on the other side.

If the Universe can be convinced that one person belongs somewhere else, perhaps millions of universes can be made to recognize one another as parts of the same system without being destroyed or merged.

To prove their theory, the brothers must cross boundaries no civilization has ever passed, challenge the fundamental laws of existence and survive all those who prefer a familiar solution to an impossible hope.

But while time has stopped passing through their bodies, it will continue to take the people they love.

And when Gabriel and Daniel begin to defend different paths for saving existence, they will discover that the greatest danger may not lie in the dying universes. It may lie between them.

José Monteiro broke the prophecy. Now his sons must prove that a future without destiny deserves to survive.

09 · Book I · Khar’Ka — The Guardian of the Millennia

The Sentinel of the Blue World

Khar’Ka — The Guardian of the Millennia

He helped create Humanity to win a war. For millions of years, he became its sole guardian.

When the Spulves leave the Blue World, Khar’Ka receives one final mission: remain on Earth, observe the evolution of the new species and warn his people if humans become a threat. Forbidden to interfere, he must cross the millennia in suspension chambers, awakening only to assess the experiment’s progress.

But from his first awakening, Khar’Ka realizes that something is wrong.

The humans have not merely survived; they have begun to spread across the planet. The blood of Montarion runs among them—the strange being who freed the first prisoners from the Spulve laboratories and announced the return of the one who had given him his name. The more Khar’Ka investigates this bloodline, the more he finds events that should not exist: symbols carved before the civilizations that created them, messages written in languages yet to be born and prophecies that seem to know the future.

Across the ages, Khar’Ka witnesses the birth and fall of civilizations. He sees visitors from the stars present themselves as gods, human empires turned into instruments of extraterrestrial wars, and hidden forces fighting for control of Earth. Unable to remain indifferent, he begins to violate the Spulves’ orders, protecting peoples, destroying secret armies and erasing from History the traces of those who sought to enslave Humanity.

Each intervention, however, brings him closer to what he fears most: becoming a traitor in the eyes of his own people.

Centuries later, among the Maya, Khar’Ka finds a stone older than any known journey through time. Upon it is inscribed an impossible name: José Monteiro. The name of a man written long before Portugal, the Portuguese language or the world in which he will be born exists.

The discovery begins a search spanning continents and millennia. Human secret societies become heirs to Khar’Ka’s knowledge. Some swear to protect the prophecy of Montarion; others believe José will be responsible for the end of the Universe and seek to prevent his birth. Meanwhile, ancient enemies return, the false gods recover their strength and the Spulves begin to suspect that their sentinel is no longer an observer.

When Humanity enters the century of wars, machines and weapons capable of destroying the planet, Khar’Ka faces his greatest doubt: does the species he has protected for millions of years truly deserve to survive?

The answer will come when the creators return to the Blue World to complete the judgment begun at the dawn of Humanity. Faced with the threat of extermination, the Heirs of the Secret seek the man whose name crossed time, while Khar’Ka discovers that Montarion was never merely a bloodline.

It is a cycle. And José Monteiro is the event for which all of History has been preparing.

Torn between loyalty to his people and love for the species he watched grow, Khar’Ka must break the oath that kept him a prisoner of Earth and make one final choice: surrender Humanity to its creators or begin a war capable of condemning every civilization he swore to protect.

Because Khar’Ka was left on Earth to decide when Humanity should die. But his creators never imagined that he would learn to believe in it.
